Conquering Mental Illness: Osher Günsberg’s Journey #mentalhealthfutureexpo @genUTraining
Join us in conversation with Osher Günsberg, one of Australia’s most recognisable media personalities. Osher has been a guest in the living rooms of Australian’s for nearly 2 decades on our TV’s, Radios, podcasts and most recently in his memoir ‘Back, After the Break’. Currently, Osher hosts Network Ten’s The Bachelor Franchise, and The Masked Singer. In this 1-hour session, Osher will take us through his lived experience with mental illness, and how he has conquered the hidden illness and used this to help others with their own battles.
Amongst his many accolades, Osher was the Director the board of SANE Australia from 2016 - 2019, advocating for change in attitudes in our society about complex mental illness , as well as Ambassador for leading children’s charity The Shepperd Centre, educating the public to assist children who are born deaf or hearing impaired, and supports World Bicycle Relief who provide bicycle distribution programs to aid poverty relief in developing countries around the world. Osher is also a passionate photographer, cyclist, plant eater and coffee connoisseur, he lives with his wife, son, step daughter and their mischievous cavoodles.
