Mindfulness - Body Scan
Michelle will lead a mindfulness session based on a body scan. You will be given the option to sit (or lie down) in a comfortable position and follow a body based awareness practice. The purpose of this session is to give you the opportunity to tune in to your body—to reconnect to your physical self—and notice any sensations you're feeling without judgement. While many people find the body scan relaxing, relaxation is not the primary goal (the body scan is used at the beginning of mindfulness meditation practice). The session will last 20 minutes (time TBC) and you would need access to a quiet space free from interruptions.
